Last July I hid in the bushes of a local winery trying my best not to be seen or heard as I captured and documented Gregg propose to his love, Paige. And of course she said YES….which you can see here.. in a fun slideshow I put together for them.
Having witnessed their proposal, I felt very attached to them and was thrilled to document their wedding. Pere Marquette holds a lot of sentimentality for me because Heath and I used to take Autumn drives up there when we were dating. The roads leading there are so beautiful flanked by the Mississippi River on one side and beautiful trees a top bluffs on the other. This place represents a lot of love for me personally and was really special that I was able to photograph Gregg and Paige’s wedding at the lodge.
