Nick and Kelly’s wedding was absolutely beautiful, and the weather ended up being perfect despite a rain forecast leading up to the wedding.
The day began in Soulard at the Gold Door Loft where the ladies stayed and got ready for the day. Once ready, Kelly’s dad came to the Loft where him and Kelly shared the sweetest father-daughter moment. I just love how much adoration both Kelly’s parents have for her. They are simply the sweetest parents ever.
Then came Nick! He waited for Kelly to come down to greet him and they shared the cutest First Look. Nick has so much love for Kelly and it really shows. They spent a little time hanging around Soulard and enjoying cocktails at one of their favorite Soulard spots, Itap. It was really important to Kelly and Nick to feel relaxed and enjoy their day as much as possible with all their close friends and family.
Once we wrapped up cocktails in Soulard, we headed to Tower Grove Park for some bridal party photos. Following the park, we arrived at Wild Carrot where the bridal party shared a special toast before the ceremony. The ceremony felt so special and sentimental. I loved when Kelly said “I never imagined the guy I had a crush on at 15, was the guy I was going to marry.” Not sure there were many dry eyes….including my own.
After the ceremony…..it was a wonderful celebration!
It was such an honor to document Nick and Kelly’s wedding and to witness their union.
