Liz and Chuck’s wedding was something out of a Louisa May Alcott novel and was beautifully set at the Oakland House; a historic mansion in St. Louis built in 1853. Being the Historians they are, Liz and Chuck were very intentional with the details of their wedding to fit into the time period of the Oakland House’s glory days. Liz even hand made her dress in the style of the late 1800s. The ceremony took place in the morning and was followed by a waffle bar brunch with games to follow. The whole feeling of the day was so relaxed and fun. I definitely felt like I stepped back in time. Here are a few images to visually tell their story of their wedding day.
