I honestly cannot say enough about this fun couple. Anyone who makes me laugh as much as they do are definitely my FAVORITE kind of people.
Katie has a way of lighting up any room and adding a fun energy to everything. Pat is so sweet natured and makes anyone around him feel seen and very comfortable. He is also a St. Louis firefighter and was injured in a major fire a few weeks before the wedding. His surgery for his burns was scheduled 3 days AFTER the wedding. 😳He was a complete trooper and you wouldn’t have even known he was in any pain. Nothing like spending your honeymoon in surgery! I am very sure that Katie made it as fun as possible for him though! 🙂
The Angad Arts Hotel, where Pat proposed to Katie last Winter, provided such an amazing place for Katie and her best girls, including Pat’s sweet daughter and even her Dad to get ready. While I was having fun with the girls at this fascinating hotel, Heath met up with the guys at Pat and Katie’s home. Unfortunately, there was a slight snafu with the tuxes, but these guys are very resourceful and improvised very well.
We all met up at St. Stanislaus for the beautiful ceremony. Pat and Katie had such a sweet connection throughout the whole ceremony that made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. After the ceremony we drove around to Union Station and to Lafayette Square to grab a few photos before heading to Favazza’s for their AWESOME reception!
We feel so honored to have been part of this wedding and to have gotten the chance to meet two incredible people! Thank you for allowing us to capture your wedding, Pat and Katie!
