Getting the opportunity to photograph an engagement session in my hometown of Kansas City, especially in the Crossroads District was SOOOO FUNNNNN!!! Kansas City’s Crossroads scene has changed sooo much since I was in college at UMKC as an art student and would always go to First Fridays with my friends. I felt like I used to know that area like the back of my hand. Now, I am completely turned around and confused. Thankfully Chelsea and Greg hang out here a lot and knew all the spots to go, including grabbing a beer together at Brewery Emperial which had the most eclectic space and was reminiscent of being somewhere in West Texas maybe.
After a lot of exploring and enjoying the most perfect sunset, we headed over to the Crossroads Hotel to go to the roof top and for another drink. That hotel is sooo beautiful and love all the artistic details everywhere.
I loved spending time with Chelsea and Greg. I am so excited for their Spring Wedding in St. Louis!!!
