A Lifted Life

Recently I did a photo session with my dear dear friend, Sylvia and her family, of Lifted Naturals.

As I sit here attempting to write a blog post about someone is who is an amazing writer, while I am not, is incredibly daunting. Nevertheless here goes.

This girl is completely amazing! I really cannot say enough awesome things about her.

Sylvia and I met about 8 years ago at a park when I was still living in Kansas City. We both had creative minds, toddler boys and baby girls. We instantly bonded! Obvs!

Sylvia is extremely creative, highly intelligent and very entrepreneurial. It was apparent that she had a gift as a Life Coach; her coaching seriously changed my life. Her ability to help people become the better versions of themselves is amazing.

Soon she started to realize the desire to help people on a bigger scale as she was learning of the links between gut health and anxiety. Naturally, she wanted to get to the root of the problem by working with a manufacturer to create a Mood Boosting Probiotic. Thus, Lifted was created. And I thought she had changed my life through coaching! I have never felt better and am way less anxious now that I take this awesome probiotic daily!

I am Sylvia’s number one fan! She continues to amaze me. I feel like she is a true pioneer, and that bigger things are in store for her.

If I have peaked your curiousity, please visit her website to learn all about her amazing probiotic! Or go to Amazon to order it! Or just look at her sweet family by scrolling though the photos!

Like the Dead Sea, You’ll never sink when you are with me.
— The Lumineers

This day was magic. Magic in the sense that everything just came together like it was meant to be - from the new barn at the ranch being ready, the weather, and down to every last detail.

As I was photographing them, I noticed how relaxed and happy they both were leading up to the ceremony. I mean, it was pouring rain, and the ceremony was outdoors. The big wooden arbor by the altar blew down in the wind, chairs were toppling over, it was a sad sight to see as the clock was ticking closer and closer to the start of the ceremony.  As all this was happening, Adi didn’t seem the least bit phased as she soaked in time with her closest gals. All the while, Dutch was enjoying the time with his groomsmen, waiting and hoping for the rain to stop, but willing to start moving the whole ceremony inside to the barn.

We decided to take photos under the overhang to keep dry, and as we were doing pictures, the rain STOPPED….and the clouds parted. Guests were arriving, the Ushers were putting the arbor back together, drying off all the chairs and everything went according to plan…plus lots of mud.

Heath and I were thrilled to be part of this wedding. Even if I may have accidently called 911 and had the cops show up.  Thank you for allowing us to document your special day. We loved every minute of it!

I have loved you for a thousand years, I’ll love you for a thousand more

Matt and Gabriella's wedding was so beautiful, and filled with so much love, friendship and laughter. Gabriella was the perfect bride, radiating happiness and love.  And Matt was the perfect groom, always smiling and laughing. These two are just perfect for each other.

Despite this early May wedding feeling like mid July, we all had a blast. The wedding party were troopers in the heat and humidity. As long as they had a cold beverage, they all seemed fine.

We were so honored to be a part of this day with Matt and Gabby. Everything was just perfect!

Best Wishes,

XOXO,

Pearl and Heath
